Xterium ("the App") is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet for the XODE network and Polkadot Hub, published by the XODE team ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App does and does not process.
We do not operate accounts and do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or other personally identifying information. There is no sign-up. We do not sell or share any data with advertisers.
To show balances and broadcast transactions, the App connects to public blockchain infrastructure (RPC nodes, indexers, and block explorers) and, when you use them, third-party services such as WalletConnect. These services necessarily receive:
Public blockchains are, by design, transparent and permanent. Any transaction you broadcast is publicly visible on-chain. We do not control third-party infrastructure; please review their respective policies.
Settings, address book entries, token visibility, cached balances, and your preferred language are stored locally on your device for your convenience. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes this local data. Uninstalling also removes your encrypted keys — keep your recovery phrase backed up.
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly process data from them.
Keys are encrypted at rest and protected by your device PIN/biometrics. However, no method of storage is 100% secure, and you are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase and device.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
